Documentation Deadline Day

Reminder: All paperwork must be submitted today for those applying for the Dziret'ái Pilot Training Program.

Here’s what we need by noon on Friday, August 16, 2024:

  1. Grade 12 or equivalent official transcript: Program certificates and unofficial transcripts are not acceptable.

  2. A criminal record check: This must be completed within three months of the program launch - no earlier than April 3, 2024.

  3. Identification documents: Only valid status cards, or birth or baptismal certificates are accepted. No other government-issued ID is allowed. If you've submitted your driver’s licence, or passport, it’s not valid for this program. If you are submitting a birth or baptismal certificate, please also include a letter from your band confirming your membership if you do not have a status card as applicable.

  4. Legal name change certificate: If you’ve changed your name for marriage or any other purpose (first or last name), we need a legal certificate to confirm the change. All names on your documents must match unless you provide this certificate. If you haven't changed your legal name, this is not required but please indicate that there isn't one.

  5. A completed Transport Canada Category 1 Medical Certificate or confirmation of the date you've booked your appointment. Remember, these exams can only be performed by a physician on this list: https://apps.tc.gc.ca/Saf-Sec-Sur/2/CAME-MEAC/r.aspx?lang=eng&p=8&c=&x=&s=1&l=124

For applicants who do not provide the required documents, i.e., 1-4 above by August 16, 2024, please don't proceed with a Transport Canada Medical Examination. Even if the delay in getting the documents is beyond your control, the cutoff will not be extended.

Please send all outstanding documentation to pilotrecruitment@riseair.ca before noon on August 16, 2024. Applicants who are selected for interviews will be contacted promptly following the deadline.

For those who have provided the required documents 1-4 above by August 16, 2024, please download the claim form below so that we can reimburse you for the cost of your Transport Canada Medical Examination. You will need to scan your receipts and complete the form. Further instructions are on the document itself.
